As you may know from our Mango Connection special edition, our new marketing campaign, Mangover, officially launched May 2, with new celebrity spokesperson, Clinton Kelly. Our Mangover concept was introduced at a launch event in New York City that included a media VIP happy hour, and a consumer and influencer event where attendees learned innovative ways

We are calling on all mango shippers for your help to encourage small retailers to participate in our third annual Mango Mania Display Contest throughout the month of July. The contest is designed specifically for individual stores or small chains with up to 50 stores to help boost their mango sales, all while showcasing their creativity and educating

Scan data for the total U.S. and nine sub-regions for Q1 of 2013 is now available. Nationwide, mango dollars per store per week were up 16.7%, with mango volume per week climbing 18.4% compared to the previous year. Regionally, results were mixed, with most sub-regions seeing results consistent with the national averages.

Fresh mangos were top of mind with foodservice professionals at the National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show in Chicago on May 18-21, 2013.
