Images Inspire Chefs to Use More Fresh Mangos
Several fantastic mango recipes, prepared by renowned chefs across the US, were shot in a recent photo-shoot. Executive Sous Chef, Brian Corcoran from Culinary Support Group at Harvard University, prepared his savory Apricot Chili Marinated American Lamb Tacos with Mango Jicama Slaw, while Chef Danielle Allen from The Breadfruit in Phoenix, AZ, shared her Asian-inspired Crispy Mango Fish Rolls recipe. A Sparkling Fresh Mango Ginger Green Tea by Chef Karen Gorrell from Ideation Foods and a Mango Coconut Dessert Risotto by Pastry Chef Francis Ang, from the 5th floor located in San Francisco were also highlighted in the photo-shoot. All of the photographs and recipes will help us spread the mango message to foodservice publications and inspire chefs to add permanent fresh mango menu items in their menu.
