2011 Retail Success
In 2011, the National Mango Board helped 24,917 retail stores promote mangos. NMB retail promotions, which the NMB fund as incentives to help retailers promote mango more often and more effectively, generated a 117% increase in mango volume. During these promotions, shoppers gained more insight about mangos and had the opportunity to taste fresh cut mangos, some for the very first time, at one of the NMB's 10,024 sampling events. With such a great return from the retail promotions, the NMB is looking forward to continued success with retailers to increase mango movement in 2012.
