The Mango Retailer of the Year Award identifies retailers that go above and beyond the call of duty to offer strong, consistent support to the mango industry while delivering outstanding mango promotional results.
2022 Winner: Kroger
The National Mango Board (NMB) has announced The Kroger Co. as its recipient of the 2022 Mango Retailer of the Year award. The Kroger Co. has been selected from more than 100 retailers across the United States that work alongside the NMB in promoting the consumption of mango. 2021 Winner: Albertsons
The National Mango Board (NMB) announced Albertsons Companies as its recipient of the 2021 Mango Retailer of the Year award. 2020 Winner: All of You!
To say 2020 was unprecedented for not only our industry, but the world is an understatement. You stayed open and kept us fed despite strains to all aspects of the supply chain. Your determination, courage, and resilience did not go unnoticed.

2019 Winner: Wegmans
The National Mango Board honored Wegmans as the 2019 Mango Retailer of the Year. The award winner was announced during the NMB’s Annual Mango Industry Reception during PMA’s Fresh Summit Convention & Expo in Anaheim, CA. The award was received by Mary Zink (pictured).
2018 Winner: ShopRite
The National Mango Board honored ShopRite as the 2018 Mango Retailer of the Year. The award was received by Perno W. Young III (left) and Derrick S. Jenkins (right) from Wakefern Food Corporation.
2017 Winner: Jewel-Osco
The National Mango Board was pleased to present the 2017 Mango Retailer of the Year Award to Jewel/Osco. The award was received by Michael Vesely (left) from Jewel-Osco.
2016 Winner: Walmart
The National Mango Board honored Walmart as the 2016 Mango Retailer of the Year. The award was received by Wynn Peterson (left) and Gary Campisi (right) from Walmart.
2015 Winner: Harris Teeter
The National Mango Board presented the 2015 Mango Retailer of the Year Award to Harris Teeter. The award was received by Aaron Franklin (pictured).
2014 Winner: Roundy's
The National Mango Board presented the 2014 Mango Retailer of the Year Award to Roundy's Supermarkets. The award was received by George Hurst (pictured).
2013 Winner: Raley's
The National Mango Board presented the 2013 Mango Retailer of the Year Award to Raley's Family of Fine Stores. The award was received by Greg Corrigan (pictured) on behalf of Micheal Schutt.
2012 Winner: A&P
The National Mango Board presented the 2012 Mango Retailer of the Year Award to The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company. The award was received by Dominic Pelosi (pictured).
